Our software development methodology is the collection of policies, processes and procedures used by our team during software development. Our software development methodology consists of the following phases:

1. Defining project requirements

   If you have neither project specification nor request for proposal, we work with you to ensure that we understand your business objectives and all project requirements. Our team makes further analysis of requirements and defines project scope and technologies for application development. In other case, if you provide us with detailed project specification or request for proposal, we immediately start with analyzing and elaborating proposal document.

2. Proposal

   After analysis of requirements our team makes proposal document which includes project scope and requirements that must be satisfied, project plan, schedule, warranty and costs. For largest projects it contains definition of milestones, because it is our common practice to develop largest projects through the phases. Proposal document should be reviewed and approved by you. After approval we proceed onto the next step.

3. Defining functional specification

   In this phase we define functional specification document – the complete specification for the project, describing functional requirements, architecture of the system, technologies, requirements for performance and security and other important attributes of the future software system. Once you approve and sign-off the functional specification, the project requirements are “frozen” and after that we can start with design and implementation of the system. Additional requests for functional changes will be managed through the documents called “request for changes”.

4. Design

   In this phase our team has all the information needed for design of the requested system. Based on defined system requirements and the functional specification our team start with design. The result of this phase is document called “Detailed design specification”, which will be a guide for our developers during implementation of the system.

5. Implementation

6. Testing and Documenting

   Upon completing the phase of implementation and module tests we perform integral functional testing, performance testing and security testing to ensure that all requirements are met. Any detected errors or bugs are immediately fixed. After the system passes successfully all the tests, we prepare end-user documentation as defined in the project plan. Its volume is determined by the system complexity and user requirements.

7. The Pre-Release

   In this phase we prepare the first delivery (pre-release) for you. After that we accept feedback from you, and depending on your feedback we are working on debugging, improving and customizing the system.

8. The Final Release and Period of Warranty

   In this phase we prepare the final release. After installing the final release we provide training course for users as defined in the project plan. Upon delivering the final release, begins period of warranty as it is defined in the proposal document. During this period you have free support, and any detected bug or programming error is corrected without additional costs.

9. Support and Maintenance

   By defining additional agreements we can provide support and maintenance services after warranty period. These services include additional system enhancements, new functionalities development and all other changes on the system needed by your evolving business process.
